Yikes! You surprise me again with a piece! xD You're really good with the soft-realistic style! I am absolutely head-over-heels for the coloring (again). You know just how to make a great background without distracting from the focus of the piece, and also make said focus glow without making it look... weird.

The ear and his lower left arm look a tad weird (the arm almost looks like the bone's not solid). Other than that, though, I think it's absolutely perfect.♥

I wish I could draw toes like that, dang. xD

You're right... that arm does look a bit off, but meh. I think I've spent enough hours. Now to go eat... something.

The toes were VERY TIME CONSUMING. And the trick to focus is to contrast the color saturation and light balance. If the focus is bright, then tone down the backdrop, or if the subject is grey, cheer up the surroundings.
